Vanessa Quintero

Vanessa Quintero has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting department of various hospitality companies. Vanessa currently serves as the Director of Finance at Sable at Navy Pier, a Curio Collection by Hilton since February 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Finance Manager at Radisson Hotel Group from March 2018 to February 2021. From October 2015 to March 2018, Vanessa worked as a Finance Manager at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.

Vanessa'searlier experience includes working as an Assistant Controller at Radisson Blu from October 2012 to October 2015. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining accounting procedures, preparing financial statements, and managing the closing process. Vanessa also served as an Assistant Controller at Hyatt Regency Schaumburg from January 2010 to October 2012, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and implemented internal controls. Before that, they worked as a Credit Manager at the same hotel from October 2007 to January 2010. Vanessa started their career as an Accounts Receivable Assistant at Sofitel Chicago O'Hare in August 2007.

Vanessa Quintero earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Community Health and Preventive Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they completed between 2003 and 2007. In addition to their academic qualifications, Vanessa also holds additional certifications, including the HFTP USALI Practice, Analysis & Compliance Certificate from Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) obtained in 2020, and the Excel 2016: Macros in Depth certification from Lynda.com obtained in October 2016.
