Talya Nevo-Hacohen

Talya Nevo-Hacohen has a diverse and extensive work experience. Talya is currently a Member of the Board of Trustees at Seritage Growth Properties, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Investment Officer at Sabra Health Care REIT, Inc. from November 2010.

Before joining Sabra, Talya worked as a self-employed consultant, focusing on real estate finance from March 2009 to November 2010. Talya also held the role of Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management from August 2008 to February 2009.

Talya has considerable experience in the real estate finance industry. From September 2006 to August 2008, they worked as a consultant, where they identified and negotiated real estate acquisitions, equity, and debt capital for private clients. Talya'sachievements during this role include guiding a $250 million equity fund/joint venture initiative for a capital-constrained developer and brokering a $4.5 million senior housing acquisition and associated mortgage financing for a turnaround specialist.

Prior to their consultancy work, Talya was a Senior Vice President at HCP, Inc. from April 2003 to August 2006. In this role, they acted as a change agent in the senior management team, reporting directly to the CEO. Talya played a crucial role in external financial relationships and led the company's balance sheet, financial strategy, policy, and treasury operations. Talya also served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs from August 1993 to April 2003, where they held positions in the Finance Division and the Operations and Administration Division.

Talya Nevo-Hacohen began their career in the finance industry as an intern at Prudential Mortgage Capital in 1992.

With their extensive experience and expertise in real estate finance and investment, Talya has made significant contributions throughout their career.

Talya Nevo-Hacohen attended Hebrew College in 1976-1977, for which the exact degree and field of study are unknown. Talya then went on to complete their BA in Architecture at Yale University from 1977 to 1981. Subsequently, they pursued an MArch in Architecture at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation from 1981 to 1984. Finally, they obtained an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School in 1992-1993.
