John M. Vazquez

John M. Vazquez has over 25 years of experience in the real estate and corporate services industries. John currently serves as the chair at Sacred Heart University. Previously, they served as the Vice President of Real Estate and Corporate Services at MetLife from April 2004 until January 2012. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing a 20 million square foot real estate portfolio and $2 Billion in annual procurable spend.

Prior to their time at MetLife, Mr. Vazquez served as a Principal at Edwards and Zuck Consulting Engineers (now Stantec) from January 2003 to April 2004. In this role, they provided real estate advisory, facilities management, and engineering consulting services.

Before Edwards and Zuck, Mr. Vazquez spent 10 years at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they held the title of Senior Vice President of Global Facilities Services. In this role, they were responsible for managing a global portfolio of facilities and services.

Mr. Vazquez began their career in 1983 at IBM, where they spent 10 years as the Real Estate Program Manager for Headquarters Operations.

John M. Vazquez has a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Sacred Heart University. John also has certification from CoreNet Global in Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year 2016 and Licensed Intern Engineer NY State.
