Javier Rubio

Javier Rubio has extensive work experience in the energy and construction industries. Javier is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at Saeta Yield, a Brookfield Company, where they aim to provide value to shareholders. Prior to this role, they worked as the Vice President of Operations at Worley. Javier also held the position of Director of Business Development & Strategy for the Middle East at Jacobs. In their previous role as the EPC Business Line Managing Director at IMASA, Rubio was responsible for developing and implementing an expansion strategy, resulting in a significant increase in annual turnover and new business awards. Before that, they held various roles at Fluor, including Senior Director of Business Development for the EAME region and Director of Business Development in Mexico City. Rubio also gained valuable experience at Fluor Global Services, Grupo Cobra, and Fluor Corporation in project management and engineering roles.

Javier Rubio's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at Escuela Politécnica de Ingeniería de Gijón. Javier completed their studies in 1996 and received a degree in Ingeniería Industrial. In 1994, Javier had the opportunity to study abroad at Polytech Nancy through the Erasmus program for one year, focusing on Industrial Engineering.

In 2003, Javier pursued further education at Escuela de Organización Industrial, where they obtained a PADE degree in Administración Internacional de Empresas in 2004. Following this, they attended Universidad de Oviedo and obtained a Diploma Estudios Avanzados - Suficiencia Investigadora in Ingeniería in 2008.

Currently, Javier is pursuing additional education at Lean Six Sigma Partners, working towards an Executive Black Belt for Sr. Management degree, which is projected to be completed in 2023.
