Susana Fariñas

Susana Fariñas has a diverse work experience in the field of Health, Safety, and Environment. Susana currently holds the position of Head of HSS&E at Saeta Yield since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at X-ELIO as a Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Manager from December 2014 to March 2023. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Gestamp Renewables including Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment Specialist from February 2013 to December 2014, and Occupational Health and Safety Technician from February 2012 to February 2013.

Susana Fariñas has a diverse education history. Susana started their academic journey at the University of Huelva, where they pursued Environmental Sciences. Following that, Susana obtained a Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (Safety, Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Psychosociology) from Acedis. Susana continued their education at IMF Smart Education, where they earned a Master's Degree in Renewable Energy. Susana then pursued a Master's Degree in Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 from Formades.

In addition to their studies, Susana also pursued the English language at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Later, in 2018, they obtained the NEBOSH International General Certificate from Elinor. In 2022, Susana began studying at ThePower Business School, working towards The power MBA degree. Susana also pursued a Leadership program at Think safety in the same year.

Furthermore, Susana has obtained certifications from various institutions. Susana obtained the PowerSkills certification from ThePower Business School in January 2023. In February 2018, they received the NEBOSH International General Certificate from RRC International. Prior to that, in January 2010, Susana obtained the Professional Técnico de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales en Seguridad, Higiene, Ergonomía y Psicosociología Aplicada certification from the Instituto Regional de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de la Comunidad de Madrid. Lastly, in September 2021, they completed the OHSMS ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor Training Course from the Bureau Veritas Group.
