Christoph Günter

Christoph Günter has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Christoph is currently the President EMEA and a member of the Executive Committee of SAF-HOLLAND SE since October 2019. Christoph also holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the same company since March 2020. Prior to joining SAF-HOLLAND SE, Günter worked at Knorr-Bremse for over a decade, where they held various roles including Vice President Sales & Marketing Trailer and Specialist OE, Vice President Sales & Development Trailer & Specialist OE, Vice President Corporate Marketing and Communications, Assistant to the Head of the Supervisory Board, and Assistant to the CEO. In 2015, they served as the Managing Director (Interim) at Knorr-Bremse Commercial Vehicles Spain. Günter started their career at MAN Truck & Bus in 2004 as a Trainee Sales and Marketing and later as Key Account Business Intelligence & Support. Christoph also had a brief stint at Brose as a Graduand.

Christoph Günter completed their education with a Diploma in Industrial Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1998 to 2004. Christoph also spent a year studying Industrial Engineering at the Universidad de Salamanca in 2001-2002. In 2017, they attended the IESE Business School for a program in Leading Your Sales Team. Recently, in 2021, they completed a course at INSEAD on Leading Digital Transformation and Innovation.
