Clinton Wekesa

Wekesa Clinton is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience at Safaricom PLC since May 2017, where roles have included Backend Lead, Technical Product Owner, AI & Chatbots Lead, Senior Software Engineer, IT Architecture - Chapter Lead, and Software Engineer. Key contributions encompass developing the company’s Chatbot framework, implementing microservices, and leading the integration of modern technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. Prior to Safaricom, Wekesa served as a Software Developer at Eclectics Intl. and as an IT Consultant at Universal Technology Associates Ltd. Wekesa holds a Bachelor's degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education from Teremi High School.
