Protus Etende

Protus Etende is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Principal Engineer in Cyber Prevention and Defence at Safaricom PLC since February 2015. Previously, Protus held roles including Senior Officer in Technology Security and IT Security Analyst at Essar Telecom Kenya (YU), where responsibilities included auditing systems for compliance with Information Security policies. Protus also worked as a Revenue Assurance Executive, focusing on subscriber provisioning assurance, and as a Payments Integrity Analyst at Safaricom Limited. Protus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Africa Nazarene University, obtained between 2001 and 2005.
