David Muliro

David Muliro is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the Executive Head of Cyber Security at Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC since August 2021, David previously held the role of Principal Cyber Security Architect and Senior Solutions Architect at Safaricom from January 2014 to November 2021. Prior experience includes positions at MTN Kenya as a Presales System Engineer, Senior Support Engineer, and Support Engineer from June 2008 to December 2013, as well as a Business System Analyst role at Kenya Airways in 2006. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kenyatta University and an IMIS degree in Management of Information Systems from Strathmore University.
