Dennis Wanyonyi

Dennis Wanyonyi is a Senior Integration Engineer at Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC since February 2022, leading a team of Software Engineers in developing microservices for Mobile Money APIs tailored to the Ethiopian market. Prior experience includes serving as an M-Pesa Developer at Safaricom PLC from February 2019 to June 2022, where Dennis was the technical lead for implementing new hardware for Tibco FS services and configuring APIs on the M-Pesa G2 platform. Dennis also worked as an IT Planning and Development Consultant at TECHSAVANNA TECHNOLOGY, focusing on the M-Pesa Planning Lead role for CBS 5.5 upgrade, and held positions including Financial Services Planning Intern at Safaricom Limited and Frontend Developer at Healthix Solutions. Dennis began a career in software development as a Software Developer Intern at Airtel Kenya. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Maths and Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
