Ermiyas Worku

Ermiyas Worku has extensive experience in telecommunications and technology operations, currently serving as Executive Head of Regional Technology Operation at Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC since September 2025. Previously, Ermiyas held positions at ZTE Corporation as PM and Rollout Manager and Wireless Product (RAN) Technical Project Coordinator, managing end-to-end project delivery and technical operations for various wireless and energy products. At Huawei, Ermiyas worked as MS Network Operation Manager, overseeing daily network operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Prior experience includes supervising network operations and maintenance at ethio telecom and leading the Electrical and Computer Engineering School at Jigjiga University. Ermiyas holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Jijiga University.
