Yeabsira Getachew

Yeabsira Getachew has extensive experience in brand management and marketing, currently serving as Manager of Brand and Communication at Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC since May 2022. Previously, Yeabsira held the position of Head of Marketing-Marketplace at Kifiya Financial Technology PLC from December 2020 to December 2021, and at Diageo from September 2014 to September 2020, served in various roles including Brand Manager and Innovation Brand Manager, focusing on strategy development, performance monitoring, and local content adaptation. Early career experiences include roles at AIESEC AAU as a Team Leader and Intern, and internships at Ernst & Young and Infomind Solutions. Yeabsira holds an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Management and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Addis Ababa University.
