Movetia Salter, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in various organizations. Movetia served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at The SAFE Alliance, where they led efforts to end sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence. Prior to that, Movetia worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Alameda County Office of Education for 8 years. Movetia also held the position of Director of Human Resources at the Camden City School District and Employee Relations & Benefits Manager at the American Red Cross. Additionally, they served as the Director of Human Resources at the American Red Cross and worked as a Financial Management Specialist in the USAF.

Movetia Salter, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has an extensive education history in the field of Human Resources. Movetia obtained their Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in December 2003. Movetia further expanded their knowledge by earning the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM in January 2015.

In their pursuit of higher education, Movetia Salter first attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Financial Management. Movetia then continued their studies at Park University from 1990 to 1993, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Resources. Finally, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources from Troy University from 1997 to 2000.

Additionally, Movetia Salter has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. These include the Personnel Administrators Academy from the Association of California School Administrators in April 2014 and the Merit Academy from the California School Personnel Commissioners Association in January 2013. Movetia also holds certifications related to diversity and inclusion in HR management, such as "Diversity and Inclusion in HR Management" from HRCI in February 2022 and several certifications from Badgr, including "Hiring and Retaining Diverse Talent," "Assessing Diversity and Inclusion," and "Fostering an Inclusive Culture" obtained in 2021 and 2022.

Movetia Salter has also pursued additional certifications outside of the field of Human Resources. These include certifications such as "TxDPS Crime Records Service Criminal History Record Information Training" from the Department of Public Safety in October 2019, and certifications related to outdoor activities, including "Introduction to Kayaking Instructor" from the American Canoe Association in August 2022, "CPR & AED" from the American Red Cross in June 2022, and "Wilderness First Aid" from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in March 2022.
