Qunisha Simmons

Qunisha Simmons has a diverse range of experience in the social work field. Qunisha most recently worked as the Senior Director of Family Shelter & Community Shelter at The SAFE Alliance. Prior to that, they served as the Program Director at New Life Children's Center, a residential treatment center for teenage girls with backgrounds of abuse and neglect. Qunisha also worked as a Senior Teen Advocacy Specialist at CASA of Travis County. Additionally, they have experience as a Student Advisor at Texans Can Academies and as a Supervised Visitation worker at Dr. Tania Glenn and Associates, PA. Qunisha gained further experience as a Graduate Student Intern at ANN RICHARDS SCHOOL FOUNDATION and as a Direct Care Staff & Intern for Treatment Coordinator at High Sky Children's Ranch.

Qunisha Simmons obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree specializing in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from The University of Texas at Austin. Qunisha completed their studies in this program from 2010 to 2011.
