Joyce Moffitt

Joyce Moffitt is the current Northern Region Director at Safe Families for Children. Before that, they were with the Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley, where they provided comprehensive foster care and adoption support services including case management, recruitment, home studies, licensing, support groups and training.

Prior to that, Joyce was with DCFS and Evangelical Child and Family Agency, where they provided foster care and adoption support services including case management, home studies, child intake, family recruitment, licensing, support groups and training.

Joyce started their career in social services at the Center for Alcohol and Drug Services, Inc., where they provided social services to those struggling with addiction.

Joyce Moffitt has a degree in Psychology and Sociology from Augustana College. Joyce also has certification from Aha Process Inc in Bridges Out of Poverty Trainer.
