Douglas Hallan has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and IT sectors. Currently, they hold the position of VP Corporate Systems at Safe-Guard Products International, where they focus on data management, program and project management, and financial systems. Prior to this, they worked at Ernst & Young for a significant period, holding roles such as Director, EY Technology - Strategy & Architecture Lead, Global ERP Implementation, and Director, IT Services, Global Lead for Business & Information Architecture. Douglas also has experience working at Arthur Andersen as Manager Global Common Processes, and at Commercial Union in Systems Support & Development. Through their roles, they have gained expertise in enterprise architecture, global implementations, and IT services.
Douglas Hallan attended the European School Luxembourg from 1979 to 1990, where they obtained a European Baccalaureate. Later, they pursued higher education at Lancaster University from 1991 to 1994. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors (BAHons) degree in Politics & International Relations.
