Omar Jalil

Omar Jalil serves as the Education Manager at Safe Harbor, a position held since August 2017, where responsibilities include leading the education team in community outreach, facilitator training, and development of prevention curriculum aimed at raising awareness about domestic abuse. Prior to this role, Omar served as the Prevention Coordinator, collaborating with educational institutions and non-profits to enhance community awareness of domestic abuse through the Teen Dating Abuse Prevention Program. From January 2012 to January 2018, Omar operated a life coaching business, helping clients achieve their personal goals through tailored SMART objectives. Additionally, from September 2012 to December 2015, Omar was an Instructor at the Life Coaching Institute, where responsibilities included training future life coaches and evaluating their progress. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Psychology from the University of York and a Certified Transformation Life Coach designation from the Life Coaching Institute.
