Ben Piñon

Ben Piñon is currently the Director of Finance at Safe Haven Family Shelter since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Account Manager and Account Manager at Pilot.com from July 2021 to June 2023, and Disaster Response Coordinator at Hands On Nashville from April 2020 to December 2020. Ben also served as Garden Programming and Partnerships Coordinator at Plant the Seed, and completed an internship at Positive Community Kitchen, both in 2019. Additional experience encompasses roles as Graduate Employee at the University of Oregon, Director of Food and Sustainability Programs at Magnolia Montessori School, Academic Mentor at the University of Mississippi, and Coordinator at HealthCorps. Ben holds a Master’s degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Oregon, an MBA from the University of Mississippi, and a Bachelor of Science in International Agriculture and Rural Development from Cornell University.
