Frank Cortazzo

Frank Cortazzo has an extensive professional background with experience in education, law enforcement, and community service. Currently serving on the South Allegheny School Board since December 2019, Cortazzo has also held the position of Police Sergeant at Duquesne University since November 1986. As a Partner with Safe Kids Worldwide since June 2008, Cortazzo actively collaborates with others to enhance child safety in communities. Previous roles include Membership and leadership positions on the Board of Directors for both the PA State Association of Boroughs and the Allegheny County Boroughs Association, as well as serving as a Council Member for Port Vue Borough Council from January 2001 to December 2019. Cortazzo also coached varsity football at East Allegheny High School from 2013 to 2016. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from West Liberty University earned between 1976 and 1980.
