Nancy Herbert, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and organizational development. Currently serving as the Interim Executive Director at Safe 'Shelter of St. Vrain Valley since April 2024, Nancy also founded and leads Boardroom Sage LLC, a consulting firm focused on board governance and strategic planning, since January 2020. Previous roles include a member of the Board of Directors at Elevations Credit Union from October 2011 to April 2024 and Owner/Consultant at Communication Strategies, LLC from October 2008 to January 2020. Nancy holds a PhD in Organizational Development and Leadership from Ashford University and completed the Oxford Women's Development Leadership Programme in Organizational Leadership at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2020. Additionally, Nancy served as Communications Director for the St. Vrain Valley School District from August 1991 to September 2008.
