Jenny Pearlman

Jenny Pearlman, JD has been with Safe & Sound since 2013 and held a variety of positions before taking her current position of Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships & Policy. Jenny has many years of legal and nonprofit experience, working to ensure that all children have the opportunity to thrive. Before joining Safe & Sound, Jenny consulted to a variety of nonprofits on communication and strategy issues and worked for several years as a civil rights lawyer and education advocate with the nonprofit law firm, Public Advocates. She also practiced general civil litigation with the New York firms of Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler, LLP and Lankler, Siffert & Wohl, LLP and clerked for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Early in her career, Jenny taught high school students and conducted teacher training in Namibia and South Africa. An active member of her community, Jenny has served as a trustee for several educational organizations and is currently an advisory board member of Breakthrough San Francisco. She graduated with honors from Georgetown Law and Georgetown University. Before becoming parents of four, Jenny and her partner completed a 10,000-mile sailing journey; her family continues to look for ways to enjoy the outdoors and find adventure.
