Katherine Ambrose

Katherine Ambrose serves as the Chief of Staff to the Chairwoman at the National Transportation Safety Board since October 2024 and is also an Energy Security Fellow at SAFE. Previously, Katherine worked as Professional Staff for the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation in the United States Senate and held multiple roles in the U.S. House of Representatives, including Director of Pacific Northwest Policy and Legislative Assistant for the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Earlier experience includes serving as Legislative Analyst at Alpine Group and Coordinator in Government & Public Affairs at Nike. Katherine began her career as a Student Liaison and Research Assistant at William & Mary. Katherine holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in International Relations from William & Mary and graduated from St. Mary's Academy.
