Jai Castle has a diverse range of work experience, spanning various roles and industries. They began their career as a High School Tutor while also working as a Web Developer Intern at Concept Marketing. They later worked as a Cybersecurity Intern at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet of WA. Jai also gained experience as an Assistant Software Engineer at Barrett Communications Pty Ltd, where they were involved in research and development of new products. They then worked as a Development Intern at Akuna Capital, focusing on user interface design and testing. Jai's next role was at Rio Tinto, where they worked as a Vacation Software Engineer on the Autonomous Rail projects. They also tutored and coached at The University of Western Australia and took on software development projects at Jai Castle, working with clients in the tourism, defense, and higher education sectors. Currently, Jai is employed as an Autonomy Deployment Software Engineer at SafeAI, Inc.

Jai Castle's education history begins in 2013 when they attended Shenton College and completed their high school education with a focus on mathematics and science. From 2018 to 2021, Jai pursued a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Software Engineering and Computer Science at The University of Western Australia. Following this, in 2021 and 2022, Jai continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Professional Engineering, specializing in Software Engineering.
