Sebastian Altheim

Sebastian Altheim has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and security operations. Sebastian began their career at the Israeli Defense Forces, where they served as a Network Engineer and gained knowledge and understanding of networking equipment. Sebastian then moved on to Imperva Incapsula, where they worked as a Technical Support Engineer and later as a Security Operations Specialist. In these roles, Sebastian was responsible for providing technical support to enterprise-level customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and analyzing web-application security threats. Sebastian also developed automation scripts and monitored and mitigated large-scale DDoS attacks. Most recently, Sebastian joined SafeBreach as a Software Engineer. In this role, they are part of the Integrations team and is involved in the development and maintenance of integrations with various security solutions. Sebastian has experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs and working with databases such as Redis, Elastic, and PostgreSQL. Sebastian is skilled in JavaScript, both in the back-end and front-end, and Python as a secondary language. Sebastian has experience with advanced React tools and infrastructure tools such as AWS, Jenkins, ESX, and Linux systems. Sebastian is responsible for end-to-end design, development, and testing of new features, and they contribute to creating complete CI/CD flows.

Sebastian Altheim obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Holon Institute of Technology between the years 2018 and 2021.
