Shira Akov

Shira Akov has a diverse range of work experience. Shira started their career as a Network Intelligence Researcher at Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps from August 2008 to February 2011. Shira then worked as a QA Analyst at Tapingo from November 2011 to May 2012, where they focused on devising and implementing testing scenarios for mobile and web-based applications. Shira then joined The Hebrew University of Jerusalem as a Research Student from June 2013 to June 2015. After that, they worked at Adallom, where they held multiple roles. Initially, they were a Technical Support Manager and a Technical Writer from March 2015 to September 2015. There they were responsible for high-level problem resolution and creating technical content and product updates. Later at Adallom, they took on the role of a Cloud Analyst from October 2015 to July 2016, where they conducted in-depth investigations into security and compliance policies of various SaaS platforms. In 2016, they joined Microsoft as a Product Manager and worked until January 2018. Currently, they are a Product Manager at SafeBreach since December 2018.

Shira Akov pursued their education at the Jewish Community High School of the Bay (JCHS) from 2004 to 2008, where they completed their high school education. Following that, from 2012 to 2015, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology and Cognitive Studies.
