Mike Bergen

Mike Bergen is the current Vice President of Public Sector at SafeGraph. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Head of Government Affairs at Orbital Insight from May 2017 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for identifying leading imagery and geospatial data companies to work with, as well as leading US Government Affairs targeting key stakeholders in Defense, Intel, and A.I.

Before their time at Orbital Insight, Mike Bergen was a Senior Associate at Avascent from September 2014 to May 2017. At Avascent, they focused on helping companies make better business decisions by leveraging market data and industry expertise in emerging areas of technology, such as aerospace and defense, telecom, and health care.

Prior to their time at Avascent, Mike Bergen was a Manager at Deloitte Consulting from June 2008 to March 2012. In this role, they were responsible for expansion into new markets, supply chain risk assessments from a counter-intelligence perspective, and commercial due diligence. Mike helped companies with strategic change and preparing themselves in the changing market.

Before their career in consulting, Mike Bergen served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from May 2003 to August 2007.

Mike Bergen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Statistics from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business/Managerial Economics from Lehigh University. Mike is certified in Enterprise Risk Management from Stanford University.
