Michael Newman

Michael Newman has a range of finance and FP&A experience. Michael is currently working at Safeguard Medical as the Senior Director of Global FP&A. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Sabrosura Foods, including Senior Finance Director of FP&A and Treasury, and Finance Director of FP&A. Michael also worked at Medtronic, where they served as a Finance Business Partner for Atrial Fibrillation R&D. Additionally, they have experience at SunOpta as a Finance Manager, overseeing Healthy Beverage & Snack FP&A, and Raw Material Sourcing & Supply FP&A. Michael's earlier experience includes roles at Medtronic as Principal Financial Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst, and Associate Financial Analyst in various FP&A and controller positions.

Michael Newman has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance & Entrepreneurship from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Management from Saint John's University. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), which they obtained from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy in February 2012.
