Scotty McCormick completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics at the University of Washington, from 2013 to 2017. In August 2016, they also obtained the Engineer in Training certification in Mechanical (CA) from NCEES.
