Thiago Balla da Costa

Thiago Balla da Costa is an experienced MPD Project Engineer at SafeKick since January 2020, specializing in SafeVision® pre-run drilling simulations and real-time monitoring. Previously, Thiago held various roles at Halliburton from March 2014 to December 2019, including Drilling and Completion Consultant for Petrobras, where expertise in drilling simulations and casing design was demonstrated. Additionally, Thiago served as a Drilling Optimization Engineer, conducting real-time monitoring of drilling parameters, and as a Completion Field Engineer, responsible for offshore operations in deep water environments. Thiago holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade Vila Velha and a Post-graduation in Finance, Investment, and Banking from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
