Hani Al-Maktoum

Hani Al-Maktoum has been working in the IT industry since 2002. Hani began their career at Saudi Business Machines - SBM as a Systems Engineer, where they deployed IT and Network projects in customer premises according to planned designs that met customer requirements. In 2005, they joined Mobily as a Broadband Networks Engineering Manager, where they successfully completed a technological road map with a strategic plan accepted and approved by the Top Management. Hani also managed vendors' contracts, coached and led the team to success, and completed projects such as Mobily Infrastructure MPLS Network Implementation, WiMAX network deployment, LTE 4th Generation (4G) network deployment, Public Wi-Fi network deployment, and a committee member of Mobily Tier 3 Data Center project. In 2013, they became a Business Development Consultant (Freelance) for Safe Road Information Technology LTD., where they played a vital role in helping the management in maintaining a highly respectable sales growth over the past 3 years. Hani also facilitated the top management in making strategic decisions and successfully performed a complete study on the organizational structure and workflow process. Currently, they are a Sr. Commercial Account Manager at VMware since 2019.

Hani Al-Maktoum has a diverse educational background. Hani obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals between 1994 and 2000. In 2008, they obtained multiple certifications from various institutions, including FranklinCovey, Dale Carnegie Training, and TTM associates Ltd. In 2011, they obtained additional certifications from TTM associates Ltd. In 2011-2012, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from the Open University of Malaysia.
