Phil Joyner

Phil was appointed as Chief Financial Officer on 31st March 2023. Phil joined Safestyle in 2018, initially as Group Financial Controller and more recently as Finance Director. Prior to joining Safestyle, Phil has held senior finance leadership roles in the pharmaceutical, food manufacturing and retail sectors. His experience has included both listed and PE-backed businesses in the UK and overseas. He has significant experience in developing high-performing finance teams, debt financing, mergers and acquisitions and stakeholder management.

Phil started his career with KPMG before moving to Rexam plc, a FTSE 100 consumer packaging business. He subsequently worked at Covance Inc, a US-listed drug development business in a senior finance leadership role. He also served as Group Projects Controller with Froneri Ice Cream and Finance Controller at Symington’s. Phil is a fellow of the Institute or Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
