Kristopher Schmaltz

Kristopher Schmaltz has a diverse work experience. Kristopher currently serves as the VP, Service Excellence at Safety Codes Council since November 2023. Prior to this role, they held various positions at the company including Director of Certification, Education, and Training, Acting Director of Certification, Education, and Training, Senior Manager of Certification, Education, and Training, Administrator of Certification, and Manager of Certification, Education, and Training. Before joining Safety Codes Council, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Nichols Applied Management from August 2018 to May 2019 and as a Senior Manager at Ballad Consulting Group from July 2017 to July 2018. Kristopher also has experience working for the Government of Alberta, where they held roles such as Policy Analyst, Manager, First Nations Flood Recovery (secondment), Program Coordinator, Legislative Advisor, and Aboriginal Economic Development Officer.

Kristopher Schmaltz completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. Kristopher then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Social and Political Thought from the University of Regina between 2007 and 2009. Kristopher further expanded their educational qualifications by obtaining a Master of Public Policy degree, specializing in Performance Management, from the Johnson-Shoyama School of Public Policy from 2011 to 2014.
