Melanie Hebda is a seasoned professional in human resources and compensation management, currently serving as the Director of Compensation at Safety National since November 2021. With a rich history at Safety National from October 2006 to March 2020, Melanie held various leadership roles including Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager, where responsibilities involved human capital management, benefits, compensation, performance management, and employee relations. Prior to Safety National, Melanie worked as a Legal Assistant at Berger, Cohen, and Brandt, L.C., and as a Lead Customer Account Representative at MCI/WorldCom. Educationally, Melanie holds a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Maryville University of Saint Louis. Melanie is also certified in multiple human resources disciplines, including CCP, SHRM-SCP, CBP, and PHR.
