Hamed Taheri Gorji

Hamed Taheri Gorji is a Senior AI Scientist at SafetySpect, Inc. since August 2020, where collaboration with the USDA led to the development of advanced deep learning models and the management of a team of engineers focusing on innovative AI algorithms. Previously, Hamed was a Machine Learning Researcher, contributing to contamination detection through various deep learning frameworks. Hamed served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Dakota, developing a deep learning model for the diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment and applying deep transfer learning for agricultural disease detection. A Visiting Researcher at Technische Universität Berlin, Hamed holds a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and a PhD in Neuroscience from Sapienza Università di Roma, as well as a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Hakim Sabzevari University.
