Derek Glunz

Derek Glunz has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Derek currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Safeware, Inc., where they are responsible for overseeing financial initiatives, managing cash flow, budgeting, financial reporting, and evaluating financial performance. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Finance at Safeware and held the role of Accounting Manager at CRC Industries. Derek also worked as an Associate at Your Part-Time Controller, LLC. Derek's earlier experience includes serving as the Director/Assistant Controller at Pepsi Bottling Ventures, where they oversaw multiple departments and focused on financial reporting and accounting operations. Derek started their career as an Audit Manager at Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, where they managed financial statement audits for small to mid-sized companies across various industries.

Derek Glunz completed their education at various institutions. In 2022, they attended The Wharton School, where they obtained a certificate in the program titled "The CFO: Becoming a Strategic Partner." Prior to this, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Masters degree in Accounting at North Carolina State University. Earlier, from 2000 to 2004, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same university.
