Ryan Kain

Ryan Kain has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Ryan started their career as a Shift Manager at Bagel Street Deli in 2010 while also working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Ohio University. In 2013, they transitioned to becoming a Graduate Assistant at Ohio University.

Moving forward, Ryan joined Piraeus Consulting/Beyondsoft Consulting as an Associate in the PMO/Analytics department in 2015. Ryan stayed in this role until 2017 when they joined PayScale, Inc. as an Operations Data Analyst.

In 2020, Ryan worked as a Data Analyst (Contract) at Capital Area Food Bank. Here, they were responsible for restructuring a SQL view to consolidate and simplify multiple end-to-end processes of food inventory tracking. Ryan achieved significant improvements by reducing query inaccuracy and runtime.

Most recently, in 2021, Ryan joined Safeware Inc. as a Senior Business Analyst.

Ryan Kain completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociology from Ohio University between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology & Psychology from the same institution, graduating in 2013. Additionally, Ryan has acquired multiple certifications including "Getting and Cleaning Data," "R Programming," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera in the months of May and June 2017.
