Emily Thomas

Emily Thomas is an experienced educator and editor with a focus on English language instruction. Currently serving as a Teacher of English at Saffron Walden County High School since January 2022, Emily has previously held similar teaching positions at Linton Village College and as a Teacher of English in Initial Teacher Training (ITT). A robust background in education is further evidenced by a role as an Online Learning Coordinator at Fieldwork Education and as an Education Quality Content Specialist with Opportunity International. Emily's editing expertise is utilized at Lock Chuck Coffee. Academically, Emily holds a PGCE from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Durham University, alongside a TEFL qualification. Currently pursuing a Master of Education in Transforming Practice at the University of Cambridge, Emily combines educational leadership with a commitment to supporting student development and aspirations.
