Chengsong Ma began their work experience in 2005 as a Senior Scientist at Policell. Chengsong then moved on to Spectrum Brands Inc (formerly Rayovac) in 2006 as a Senior Engineer. In 2008, they joined Saft America Inc as a Senior Scientist/Program Manager before transitioning to the role of Technical Lead/Program Manager in 2013. Currently, Chengsong serves as the Chief Scientist, Space at Saft America Inc since March 2015.
Chengsong Ma earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Shandong University in 1990, followed by a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the same university in 1993. Chengsong then went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry at Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics from 1995 to 1998.
