Irina Marincas

Irina MARINCAS has held various roles in the field of battery system engineering and development throughout their career. Irina started as an intern at Renault in 2009 and gradually progressed to become a Head of Battery System Engineering at Saft in 2022. In between, they held positions such as Battery Development Team Manager at Groupe Renault, Project Manager at Alpine Cars, and Battery Team Manager and Project Leader at Dongfeng-Renault Automotive Co. Their responsibilities included team management, technical leadership, project engineering, quality assurance, supplier management, and strategy contribution in the development of batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Irina MARINCAS obtained their Engineer's degree in Electrical Engineering from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in 2008, and later pursued a Masters in Transport and Sustainable Development (TRADD) at Ecole des Ponts ParisTech from 2008 to 2009.
