Elizabeth De Spain is an experienced quality management and control professional currently working as a Quality Management Systems Engineer and Quality Control Engineer at Saft since March 2021. With a background in quality assurance, Elizabeth has effectively managed quality holds and nonconformities, collaborated on operational improvements, and developed corrective actions. Prior to Saft, Elizabeth served as a Supplier Quality Engineer, handling inspections and vendor audits at Saft and worked as a Quality Control Engineer at Panasonic Energy of North America, where involvement in ISO9001 certification and analysis of Li-ion quality issues was key. Early experience includes research and development of lithium-ion batteries as an Engineering Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, along with various roles that established foundational skills in engineering and laboratory techniques. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
