Amer Javed

Amer Javed has served as Vice-President of Finance at Sagard since 2018. Amer is responsible for the designing, building, and implementation of an efficient and scalable finance department with effective workflow procedures, controls, policies, and systems. He is a member of the finance team and is based in Toronto, Canada.

Prior to Sagard, Amer served as the Vice-President of Finance at Tangerine Bank (formerly ING Bank of Canada) and as the Chief Financial Officer of Tangerine Investment Management Inc. and Tangerine Investment Funds Limited. He is an alumnus of KPMG Canada.

Amer holds a B.Comm. from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Accounting and a Major in Economics.
