Ciaran Henry

Ciaran is a Partner, Head of Distribution, Europe & Asia and joined the firm in 2023. In his role Ciaran will be responsible for the firms existing relationships in the region and introducing new capital to Sagards suite of private market solutions in private equity/debt, venture capital and healthcare.

He is based in London, United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Sagard, Ciaran was responsible for Fiera Capital’s European and Asian Institutional business and leading the Distribution Team servicing clients across this region. Joining in 2017, he initially held roles raising capital for the Private Markets Business and leading the marketing of Fiera Capital’s Infrastructure and Agriculture Strategies in Europe. Ciaran has more than 22 years of experience in the investment industry. His formative years were marketing in the UK and Europe, initially for Kleinwort Benson Investors and latterly AGF International Advisors. Since 2013, his experience has included undertaking business development activities and raising capital in Asia and the Middle East covering both alternative and traditional asset classes. Prior to Fiera Capital, he was with AGF International Advisors from 2012 through 2017 holding a role in Business Development within the EMEA (Europe and Middle East & Asia) region. During his tenure with this firm, Ciaran established its UK sales and marketing operation as well as introduced and raised capital for the firm’s Infrastructure business in Europe.

Ciaran holds a B.A. from University of Westminster and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Henley Management College and is a Qualified Financial Advisor.
