Kait McCann

Kait McCann is a Principal at Sagard and joined the firm in 2022. As a member of Sagard Senior Lending Partners, Kait invests in non-sponsored senior credit opportunities primarily in the North American middle market and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution and portfolio management. She is currently based in New York.

Prior to Sagard, Kait advised and invested in startups in Australia, consulted for law firm Herbert Smith Freehills on scaling a new business development initiative, and led corporate development and operational projects for two Australian portfolio companies of Trimantium Capital. She has previously also worked as a Proposal Editor at SpaceX, coordinating and writing proposals for commercial and government rocket launches. She began her career at JPMorgan in New York, where she spent approx. seven years in the investment bank, including over five years in Leveraged Finance across both the Originations and Capital Markets teams.

Kait holds a Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) with a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing, from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.
