Michael Hassan

Michael Hassan currently serves as Partner, Managing Director, General Counsel, and Secretary at Sagard since November 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at PSP Investments from May 2013 to November 2023, including Managing Director, Divisional General Counsel, and Vice President. Michael also contributed as a Course Lecturer at Université de Montréal in 2019. Earlier career experience includes serving as Assistant General Counsel and Legal Counsel at PSP Investments from October 2006 to May 2012. Michael's academic credentials include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a Diploma in Legislative and Legal Drafting from the University of Ottawa, along with an LL.L. in Civil Law, and a DEC in Health Sciences from Collège André Grasset.
