Parinaz Sobhani

Parinaz Sobhani is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of AI at Sagard. Previously, Parinaz held multiple leadership positions at Georgian, including Head of Artificial Intelligence, Head of Applied Research, and Director of Machine Learning. Parinaz also contributes as an Advisory Board Member for the Master of Business Analytics and AI program at Schulich School of Business - York University. Academic experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Ottawa, focusing on deep learning, natural language processing, and machine learning, as well as a Visiting Research Scholar position at the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen - DIKU. Parinaz holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Ottawa and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Sharif University of Technology.
