Christian Chong-White

Christian Chong-White is an experienced traffic algorithm development manager with a strong background in intelligent transportation systems and traffic management. Currently serving as the National Traffic Algorithm Development Manager at SAGE Automation since September 2021, Christian leads the development of advanced vehicle detection systems, intelligent traffic light programs, and other algorithmic projects. Previous roles include Traffic Algorithm Development Manager at Transport for NSW and Roads and Maritime Services, where Christian contributed to significant projects such as the SCATS Congestion Improvement Program and M4 Smart Motorway. Christian's expertise extends across transport systems research, project management, and algorithm design, supported by a robust educational foundation including a Master of Transport Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
