Jared Hendrickson

Jared Hendrickson has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Jared began their most recent position in 2022 as a Bioinformatics Engineer at Sage Bionetworks. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, they worked at Vedanta Biosciences, Inc., where they held multiple roles including Principal Research Associate - Bioinformatician, Senior Research Associate - Bioinformatician, and Research Associate - Bioinformatician. At Vedanta Biosciences, Jared designed and implemented computational approaches, initiated collaborations between teams, and utilized statistical modeling techniques.

Before joining Vedanta Biosciences, Jared worked as a Co-op for Drug Discovery at Translate Bio in 2018. In 2017, they served as a Computer Operations professional at D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and as a Biomedical Informatics Research Intern at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As an intern, Jared conducted data analysis and contributed to a poster publication.

Jared's career began in 2009 and 2011 as a Research Assistant at The Evergreen State College under Dr. Clyde H. Barlow.

Jared Hendrickson earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioinformatics from Northeastern University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from The Evergreen State College from 2011 to 2013. Jared also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Physical Sciences from South Puget Sound Community College, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. In 2009 and 2010, they attended the University of Washington but did not declare a specific degree. Furthermore, Jared has received additional certifications in various areas of bioinformatics, data science, programming, and neuroscience from Coursera, edX, and other institutions.
