Louise Rathjen

Louise Rathjen has extensive work experience in the veterinary field. Louise is currently the Medical Director at SAGE Veterinary Centers since June 2021. Prior to their current position, from December 2013 to June 2021, they were the Owner and Veterinarian at Restful Paws - In Home Pet Hospice and Euthanasia. Louise also worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Cameron Veterinary Hospital from November 2015 to December 2016. Before that, they held the position of Associate Veterinarian at VCA Blossom Hill Animal Hospital from August 2012 to November 2015. Their early experience includes working as a Medicine and Surgery Intern at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital from June 2011 to June 2012.

Louise Rathjen completed their Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from San Diego State University from 1999 to 2004. Subsequently, they went on to attend Western University of Health Sciences from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
