Candace Johnson

Candace Johnson has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry, starting in the year 2000. In their current role at Sage Hospitality Group, they serve as the Vice President of Investment Management since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Feasibility & Analytics at BENCHMARK, A Global Hospitality Company from May 2019 to June 2022.

Candace also worked at Two Roads Hospitality as the Strategic Planning Director from April 2018 to January 2019 and as Vice President of Performance Optimization from October 2016 to April 2018. Before that, they worked at Destination Hotels & Resorts as the Vice President of Performance Optimization from July 2012 to October 2016, Vice President of Asset Management from December 2007 to July 2012, and Director of Market Analysis from June 2005 to November 2007.

Earlier in their career, Candace worked as a Consultant in Hospitality Asset Valuation and Feasibility at HVS International from May 2002 to June 2005. Candace also held the role of Senior Associate in the Real Estate Advisory Practice at Ernst & Young from March 2000 to May 2002.

Candace Johnson attended Cornell University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. Following this, they pursued further education at Cornell University from 1995 to 1997, obtaining a Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) with a specialization in Hospitality Management.
