Russ Allen

Russ provides guidance to Sage Mountain’s investment strategy and conducts manager due diligence.

Prior to Sage Mountain, he held investment leadership roles at Balentine LLC and Berman Capital Advisors, both in Atlanta. There he focused on asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager due diligence. Earlier in his career Russ was a buy-side analyst for Consumer Sector equities.

Russ received a Master of Arts in Political Science (University of California – San Diego) and International Relations (Johns Hopkins University) as well as an undergraduate degree in History from Wake Forest University. He lives with his wife and four children in Atlanta.
